QPSP Awards 2011 for distinguished
Pakistani Quality Professionals due on 10 Nov 2011.
The Quality and Productivity Society of Pakistan has launched an Awards Program to recognize Pakistani Quality professionals for their leadership, technical achievement, and distinguished services to the profession and Society. It provides a systematic approach for the creation and overall control of society awards at the national level.
National Awards for Individuals are being administered by a QPSP’s specially constituted independent committee headed by the Chairman QPSP. These awards recognize Pakistani professionals and academicians who track record of superior achievements in the development, implementation, promotion, and communication of quality information and technology. Awards are given to people who have made outstanding achievements in the field of quality. Any citizen of Pakistan, regardless of QPSP membership, may make nominations; however, the nomination forms must be endorsed and verified by the regional QPSP Executive Body. These awards will be presented at QPSP's Annual Conference each year.
- Outstanding Quality Manager Award (QMA) - For outstanding quality manager for displaying leadership in the application of modern quality control methods.
- Outstanding Quality CEO’s Award (QCeoA) - For exhibiting distinguished performance in a sustained role as an organizational head who personally practices the key principles of quality by him/her self and in the organization in which he/she is leading.
- Outstanding Book on Quality Award (BQA) - For the author of a distinguished book contributing significantly to the extension of the philosophy and application of the principles, methods, or techniques of quality management.
- Outstanding Research Article on Quality Award (AQA) - For the author of a distinguished Paper published in a peer reviewed international journal contributing significantly to the extension of the philosophy and application of the principles, methods, or techniques of quality management.
- Outstanding Quality Circle Award (QCA)-For outstanding Quality Circle who has contributed in the quality improvement in the organization in which it is working.
